Salaries and commission rates vary considerably in sales, but as a guide, basic salaries are typically the best in the industry. Freshers will be on a training period for months with a stipend fixed by the company, during the training period. Based on the performance in the training, the company will decide on the remunerations. As well as cash, a bonus may take the form of a prize, for example, cinema tickets or a holiday. Commissions and bonuses may be calculated and paid on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis. Rates may differ depending on whether the sale was from a new or existing customer. As considerable travel is required, the Employee must own a 2-wheeler and manage his fuel expenses.
The regular working hours would be from 9.15 am to 6.30pm from Monday to Saturday.
